Try an exciting adventure race around the streets, alleys and parks of Thame.

An orienteering race is a staggered start run with a difference - there is no set route! For an added mental challenge, you must navigate your way around the course, between each checkpoint marked on a map. We use electronic chip timing, and we'll lend you a chip to register at each checkpoint. There are courses for runners, families and children. Staggered starts (1min) are used and you can start a course any time up to midday. Courses close at 2pm.

The courses will take you around the complex streets, paths, alleys and parks of Thame. A compass may be handy to bring, but we can always lend you one if needed.

It's great fun - there will be various courses for runners, and also junior and family courses too (with a course for juniors just within Cuttlebrook Nature Reserve).

Entry on the day any time from 09:30am to 11:30am. Just turn up and our friendly Welcome Team will help you choose a suitable course. Race HQ at Thame Town Hall, OX9 3DP, close to lots of town centre car parks. £7.50 entry on the day for seniors or groups on the shorter courses (1-4k); £13.50 for the long courses (up to 8k) and £5.50 for solo juniors. Groups/pairs just pay a single rate, i.e. not per person.
